THANK YOU! For anyone who doesn’t know, the first version of this audio book was HORRIBLE! The person narrating it had a cold or something because she kept sniffling and it sounded like the characters were constantly depressed. I couldn’t finish it.

It’s really surprising that a very experienced narrator recorded the first version, felt that it was professional quality, and it was somehow approved by the author, ACX (Audible), AND the publisherd. This is a huge book that has a hardcover version and top shelf placement in actual bookstores. Just really surprising all around.

Woah, thank you! The first version is indeed awful. I could hardly believe my ears when I listened to it. I still don’t understand how it was approved with the narrator’s stuffy nose and sniffling.

the narrator for the main part is amazing! but the male narrator , not so much, even if it’s only one chapter
