Final Battle: The Next Election Could Be the Last - David Horowitz

Unabridged
“Democrats have conducted a sustained assault on the spirit of compromise that binds the union together, and set the nation on the path to a one-party state.”
“Nothing less than a handbook for the salvation of the United States of America.” (Dennis Prager)
“Exposes the outrages perpetrated by the Biden administration and the Democratic Left.” (Dinesh D’Souza)
“An ominous warning about what the future may hold if the present course is not reversed.” (Peter Schweizer)
Final Battle exposes the real threat that Democrats pose to freedom. The rise of socialism and critical race theory, coupled with threats to the Electoral College and Senate, an independent judiciary, and the integrity of the electoral system, now threaten to destroy the traditions that bring Americans together—the heart of our democracy.
Attacks on these quintessentially American customs codified by the Founding Fathers undermine the possibility of bipartisan solutions to common problems like viral pandemics and civil disorders. Americans now speak in different and antagonistic political languages, and the two parties are so polarized that the American way of life itself is at risk.
In his devastating exposé of the Democrats’ nefarious goals, New York Times best-selling author David Horowitz reveals the hallmarks of their strategies, including:
The double standard in justice: Antifa and BLM versus January 6
Citizenship as disposable: granting noncitizens privileges like voting, welfare, and health care
So-called “cancel culture” and collusion in the deplatforming of conservative voices
“Empires and states rise and fall while everybody is watching. Although the watchers may be surprised when the actual collapse occurs, with the hindsight provided by the end itself, everybody can see how it fell.”

Neat. This is a right wing version of the left wing book on direct democracy that was posted here a day or so ago. Its good that we have both aspects of the “if I don’t agree with it then it can’t possibly be a legitimate democratic process” club equally represented.

Every accusation is a confession.

But what if you accuse someone of assaulting you, does that mean you assaulted yourself? In every case? Or that one time Inigo Montoya accused that dood of killing his father, did Inigo actually kill his own dad? Is Every accusation a confession?

Surely this is satire? Nobody is really that dumb.

Looking at America from outside of it, it would seem it’s the far right wing radicals who have been trying to destroy democracy.
And now the same thing has happened in Brazil.
Which country will be next to have the stability political system attacked by these far right wing nuts who think their nation would be better off under a dictatorship.

The US “founding fathers”
- specifically avoided making a democracy because they were afraid of the sort of populist revolt that happened in france
- never intended for there to be parties of any kind, and largely fell into despair when they immediately appeared anyways
The US protests in 2020 saw police needlessly maim thousands of people, fracturing skulls, exploding eyes, severing fingers, dousing with neurotoxins, and breaking various other bones, including those of emergency medical teams, legal observers, reporters, and random bystanders, sometimes still inside their homes or cleaning after protests had ended. And recordings reveal these acts to have often been premeditated. So what is the double-standard?
As for censorship, that catering to christians (e.g. no nudity of any kind, the banning of certain ‘bad words’, and terminating accounts of anyone tied to sex work or even sex education) is still around and has even been exported now to other countries via the internet and its centralisation on US-based services. But when a group has been so heavily indulged, and for hundreds of years, even the slightest move towards balance is seen as being unfair.

Both sides are infested with full blown nutcases and Russia/China just love it. Put the far left and right wings in the ignore bucket and we might make it through these media hyped times.

And here I thought that the comment section was for reviewing the book…not for flexing your personal political agenda. Weird…

You americans need to learn about the ideologies that originated in 1700s europe. The american revolution was a *liberal* revolution, so all those conservatives who worship the “founding fathers” should think twice before using “liberal” as a slur.

Mmmm funny how some comments here get their timing so wrong! Do not let the facts get on the way of a screwed narrative (this book is about 25+ pages, how does he manage to keep it going for so long!)
USA Independence: July 4th, 1776
French Revolution: May 5th 1789 to Nov 9th, 1799
Yeah man Founding Fathers Choices has NOTHING to do with a Revolution 13 years in the FUTURE

@grond2
On the internet generally I think that was last true in maybe 1995.
The comments are for an aid to scoring new personal bests on blood pressure, heart rate and other important health markers. Oh, and sometimes humor. Which is why we like caesar. I don’t know where you got this idea that they were for anything productive.

I thought it was like a latter-day salon, where peeps in periwigs & perukes sat around eruditely discoursing on all areas of sublime knowledge? I imagined we were all wearing our periwigs for this exercise. Just me then. Now I look a right eejit.
Also, the development of the term “liberal” is a wee bit more convoluted than all that. I’d instead place the locus classicus of Classical Liberalism in the 1600s with ol’ John Locke (not the guy from Lost). US Democrats appropriated the term in the early 20th c - mostly because it sounds nice (nicer than “statist,” @ any r8).
However, democratic liberalism, properly construed, is probably the most functionally successful political philosophy. It delivers more than not. The other ideologies - not. Not at all.
Optimum government is a judicious balance of individual rights & constitutionally prescribed state engagement.
This is just one of the areas where extreme L/R ideologies - the toxic “isms”/wasms - spectacularly fail.

you know you’re in good company when Tump-pardoned Dinesh D’Souza blurbs your book. I don’t know what these right-wing nuts are worried about. They have a 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court that will make up the facts to support their political desires, have the House, will retake the Senate in two years. What are they worried about? The Democrats couldn’t overturn the filibuster to fix the systemic problems…The last election will be because the fascist right finally decides we don’t need voting.

Please stop making false equivalences between the left and the right… The right tried to overthrow a fair election because they didn’t like the result… The left protested over police brutality towards black people… There is no equivalence… It’s only the right who want to end democracy in the name of protecting democracy… It’s nothing but white males so desperately are trying to hold on to their last shred of American supremacy in the culture…

Does this book come with a free glass of Kool Aid?

Leftists (as opposed to liberals) are always so angry. Doesn’t that ever get old? Why are you even looking at the book if it makes you so mad? lol.You can’t possibly believe it will change your mind if you come into it with your mind made up.
Thank you for sharing, AndyBook.
