#1 was re-released again today with the other two… Cause i believe it has been re-recorded.
The main complaint when it first came out was the narration being rather dull…lol… i think the author must’ve seen this because this ones got a lil more gusto & there’s zero trace of the previous release anywhere to be found via Audible.

For me it was OK except maybe for the sounds at start/end of each chapter. But action inside when when two warriors (which one was even buffed) was against a lone witch in close quarters fight and there wasn’t much level difference, but warriors almost lost, was most stupid I saw in any recent book. And autor described earlier that there is no such class as warrior mage etc.

Agreed on the previous narration issue but I usually just increase the speed to 1.2x or more and that makes most narrations better I recommend this in such occasions. That being said I liked the first book regardless so I’m jumping into this very hopeful thanks whackbag for sharing.

I still have the original first book, the one that came out nearly five or so months ago. I put up the three that came out together because of the change in narration and the fact that the original narration is already on ABB. I have to agree on the speed tho, it fixes a lot of bad narrations, but it ruins some of the really good ones I’ve read.

if this is a re-recording of the first book, then I consider it a failure. The narrator really fails with his incorrect pronunciation of words (like scimitar) as well as how he presents the whole book. This could have been a really good listen if someone with talent had read it, rather than the odious attempt that was given.

Liked it a lot this is snapping up to be quite the epic story. The story flows quite nicely and there’s the potential to get quite a long rich story. Also there’s a level of sophistication not often seen and that most might miss as it’s from a Russian author making Russian literary references. Anyhow very good work in my opinion. FYI book 2 chapters 3 and 23 are swapped but everything else is in order.

For the non observant: I didn’t upload this so Inboxing me about won’t help.
If the chapters are out of whack it’s Audibles fault & not much we can do at the time of upload. Unless we make you wait and listen to the entire thing beforehand. However it’s a pretty easy process if you wanna fix it yourself…
Just run it thru InAudible (it’s a sweet program found in the forum)…With the split by chapter box ticked…move around or rename whatever you need to…then leave it or rejoin it if you want.

Thank you guys for letting me know what’s up with book 2, I haven’t had the chance to fully listen to it yet, I did skim through and I didn’t catch that chapter switch. But, I did talk to audible and they should have fixed the problem by now. I downloaded a new file and will be uploading that new hopefully fixed file within the next 24hrs.
