Okay, really liked the 1st book in this series (that was released a good while ago and I upped it back then). Parsneau as the voice actor….you know it will be great from just that alone.
I do like Crown Fall’s writing (so far) and, will give this one a listen to on a long shift at work today.

Thanks bd. I went back and listened to the first again at 2x. The narrator’s voice became so annoying xD

Was nice, some things were too easy and unearned but overall the story progresses well with new revelations.
And Andrea’s voice is very good but can get really annoying when she’s doing voices that don’t fit her range,
Mainly old men, she just doesn’t have the voice for it (same problem exist for male narrators when they high pitch their voice to do female voices - funny stuff)

gregorino90 Imo the men are fine, but i have a problem with the girl voices, like the MC. When Andrea tries to make higher-pitched girl voices, they sound nasal and annoying. They tend to come off as whiny even when they’re not being so. I was actually quite impressed by her male voices and how she manages to make different men sound so different. I think she’s the best voice actor, if we limit all characters to being voiced by the same narrator. But sure, more than one actor is certainly better.
