They really need to think up far richer stories than continually boring the crap out of many of us with the same tired dalek this dalek that or cyberman this or that. There are plenty of aliens in the doctor who universe and its high time they started using them, instead of the tired bottom of the barrel crap coming out recently…even david tennent’s stories are all endless dalek crap too.
I’d like to hear more missy stories, more bernice summerfield because these genuinely reprent great story telling. You can see why the BBC cancelled doctor who in the mid 80’s. If BF can’t come up with inhouse stories that dont revolve endlessly around the daleks or cybermen they either they need to bring fresh sci fi writers in, or concentrate full time on the stuff that works.
They ‘ve created hundreds of stories and it clearly getting to the bottom of the barrel ideas from them (think doctor who stranded 1…that was a whole new low for BF)

I agree with sylvantos. The Time War saga was done with the War Doctor. He was created to explain the Time War backstory. It most definitely wasn’t about the eighth Doctor.
The story has been told. Sure, you can create new Time War stories but it’s not pushing the DW Universe forward. Just the same Daleks plan to destroy Gallifrey or other planet…. Doctor stops Daleks. That’s the plot. Rinse and repeat.
