  I suppose this is becoming like a religion for you? The more your beliefs are challenged and the more evidence your beliefs don’t work, the stronger you cling to them? That seems to be the only explanation.

  Ralph W. Moss is an alternative cancer “guru”[1]. Never seen in public without the title “Dr.”, he holds a PhD in classics (not an MD or any scientifically relevant qualification). He claims to have been an associate director of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, but they say he was just a science writer.[1] He was dismissed by MSKCC in 1977 after accusing them of suppressing information supportive of laetrile. Moss cites this of evidence that laetrile works and is suppressed by the medical establishment. A cynic might agree that attacking your employer for failing to support quackery is a great reason for being dismissed.

  He is the author of several books promoting various forms of cancer woo, and seems to be the canonical source of the term “cancer industry” in his book of the same name. His books are hugely popular with people like Mike Adams, Joseph Mercola and of course the real cancer industry, the cottage industry of quacks, scammers, frauds and cynical bastards that exploit the desperate and vulnerable for personal gain, all of whom promote them tirelessly, never forgetting to call him “Dr.” and often repeating his false claim to have been an associate director of MSKCC. They don’t understand the appeal to authority fallacy, poor dears.

  You’d do better to better to invest in a trip to Lourdes than buying this poison peddled to the desperate by quacks.

  It really gladdens my heart to see folks standing up to this kind of nonsense. REAL science and research is hard, slow, and a real slog, where advances are made brick by brick. Breakthroughs DO happen, changes do occur - but the only mystery here is how the authors of these books sleep at night after publishing such misinformed tracts of pish.

  cant blame cancer patients for trying everything especially when modern medicine has done what it can ,but people like this , ugh.. sometimes i wish people were not free to say whatever they wanted and trash like this would not see the light of day
