As if often the case with many perplexing aspects of human behavior, there are only two possible explanations for this author’s contentions - he is either a fool or a knave. I have no burning desire to waste my time trying to find our which. My guess though is that anyone literate enough to write a book is not likely to be so ignorant of the vast quantity of factual material surrounding something like the JFK murder, including much of an official nature, that knavery is the much more likely scenario at play. Did we not recently hear former CIA Director Pompeo remind the entire world that the CIA lies, cheat and steals? Maybe “Professor” Shermer didn’t hear that bit … or maybe he is one of the liars, cheats and thieves on their payroll. Things that make you go “hmmmm …”

Michael Shermer - he talk truly. Conspiracy theorising is merely another branch of the entertainment industry. It’s perpetuated by the fact that the official, orthodox media is so blatantly untrustworthy.

Yes, the “CIA lies, cheat(s) and steals,” because the truth can cost lives. Winston Churchill understood this implicitly: “In wartime,truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.”
What is at issue is the desperate need we humans have to rationalize disparate and discordant facts into a “logical” narrative-that the random nature of reality is really under control by “someone”.

Are the lizardmen incorporated into the illuminati at branch level, or are they in a kind of separate parallel hierarchy (think Waffen SS & Wehrmacht)?
