  You just know you’ve reached Utopian, ideological perfection when you have to construct a massive, oppressive wall, complete with 300 watchtowers, 250 guard dog runs, 20 bunkers, & 24 hr guards who shoot to kill.
  Can’t have those delighted denizens of Utopia escaping now, can we?

  Comparing what you think you know today to what we know/saw from 20th century commies is so ridiculously comparing apples to oranges that you have thrown away any creditably you had caesar963. There is no comparison you are just attention seeking with ludicrous hyperbolic comparisons. Moreover you are awfully close to pissing on the graves of many victims of communism including my dead relatives I never got a chance to meet because they were either starved or shot due to Stalin’s policies over 35 years before I was born.
  By fluke, determination & guile my Dido managed to escape Ukraine with my Baba & find refuge in Canada. That’s why I exist. The closest comparison to what they suffered, starvation & boot on neck, is in Africa & the perpetrators are not commies, but climate change which is mostly on the west. When you have body counts in the millions you can come back & we will talk 20th century commie comparisons. Why arn’t you mentioning all the Africans suffering this very minute all so you can consume like a king everyday of your life? How come you don;t bring that up Mr morality? Whatever device you own and shout to the world from was made with child slave labour and from those minerals to your hand is a huge emission bill - once you start to use it the emissions continue. If the MSM switched narrative to Africa and the price their kids pay so we have digital toys, I bet you would suddenly become a defender of African child slavery to get Coltan for smartphones - you a virtue signalling superstar.
