Okay, got this one earlier today and, just had time to up it now.
First time hearing this writer’s work and, am only 1.5 hours in (and I like it so far).
Narration is done by a great voice artist (I think Irondale has done some good work myself).

First of all: thank you for the book.
Sure, not my thing, but I don’t need nor require everyone in the world to agree with me.
However. I, like most, DO really really want the significant tags to be applied.
Specifically, in my case, if The Queer are the characters in a given book, then I do not want to read it.
Just as The Queer will, most likely, have zero interest e.g. war themed fiction
I am not alone in this. Nor do I think I’m being unreasonable.
Consider Tao Wong. System Apocalaypse. At around BOOK SIX, the MC turns into a radical RAVING Queer…
This came across as a type of “conversion therapy”, or “exposure therapy”, by The Queer, for The Queer, aimed against The Not Queer.
Sorry. The Queer Activists CANNOT do this sort of thing, and NOT get the appropriate response in return.

Okay, here at work but, they may send everyone home due to this freak storm. NB up here was to be in the clear….freak snow squalls from hell itself is hitting us off the Restigouche River and, the bay just down the way.
Never thought that using a ‘they’ instead of ‘I’ or ‘me’ would set off a slight firestorm like this but, not my issues. I’m too old to give a damn and, am not going into a war like this. Sort of like playing tag in a crap field with a blindfold on…no matter what you’ll end up covered in something.
Glad you all like the ups, more to come later today.
I am one for allowing people to express their opinions so long as it is not breaking any laws or using a language or idea that could induce violence.

The really funny thing it your all sitting on the book for the wrong reason. It’s basically a carbon copy rip-off of so I’m a spider so what. Slightly different origination and end goal but synopsis is literally step for step a quick description of siassw.
Like its still a good story and well written and told but the hardest part was already done.

You know, there really SHOULLD be a woke tag. For now, I’ve just been using the LGBT(Qabcdefg) tags to give the game away, but if people just use that tag, I can know to not bother with it.
ONLY the woke uses “they” for a known singular person or thing. For those of you who like the woke stuff, good for you, please enjoy it. The rest of us will think it’s gross and just pass on it.

Came back to the comments to see what others said. Fortunately, I’m not in a country waging this silly culture war but as a non-native speaker the constant “they” really bugged me - no matter the reason, what the arguments for it might be or real-life political opinions of the author, I just had to quit after 30 min because I kept “stumbling” while listening and that annoyed me deeply. Great VA though.
