Loads of bracketed seeds and peers but stuck at 73.4%.

Thanks for the upload.
320k is excessive for spoken word when the standard seems to be 64.
Not a download issue really but a seeding issue. I just routinely convert these files to 64k which means I don’t wind up seeding them and that’s a shame.

Well I myself prefer the highest quality available as I’m sure many others do.
You can downsample all you want, but nobody can increase the bitrate so it’s for the best for them to be uploaded at the highest you can, imo.

I agree. In fact 320kbps is a marketing campaign only. Rigorous testing has proven without doubt that the human ear cannot distinguish anything above 196kbps. 320 is useful at a recording level for certain rare situations. But as far as playback goes it’s all marketing and completely unnecessary. Trouble is, once 1x brand or device offered it - everyone expected or believed the hype and wanted this “quality” level. I’m an audiophile and I’ve researched this matter extensively. Same applies to DAC technology and speaker technology. So much of the upper end of the market is pure hype and nothing more than personal preference:)
