Oj Whackbag!! Any suggestions on the cutting part? My dinky old San Disk handles big files rather badly so I would be grateful for any hint.

I hear Mp3 direct cut is pretty good, it’s lossless so you don’t lose quality.

Only time I have a problem with huge single files is if I accidentally hit forward or backward instead of pause, then it is a pain finding my place again. Thanks Whackjob!

Use Smart Audiobook Player if you have an android device. It is a wonderful audiobook player. Has a history file so you can find your spot in the case of a skip forward/back. Also jumps back a number of seconds depending on how long you’ve had the audiobook paused, which gives you a second to get back in the groove.
