Thanks. I’m listening because Stephen Graham Jones gave this author a good blurb. But so far I’m really disappointed and intensely frustrated with a huge plot contradiction, which destroys the continuity of the story
Also there is a particular public servant who is consulted for advice, who gives advice which is not at all realistic for the person in his position. Maybe we’ll find out he’s In League with the devil or something, but I seriously doubt it. I think the story is just unrealistic in areas where it’s supposed to be realistic. It’s sloppy storytelling, written for money.

Oh, the author (not the characters) also refers to a 20-something woman as a “girl” and even a “young girl”
