The rise of the worldwide anti-globalization movement has led to a renewed interest in anarchism, but many are still unsure of what it is that anarchists stand for. In this clear and penetrating study, Ruth Kinna goes right to the heart of the ideology, explaining the influences that have shaped anarchism, and the tactics and strategies that anarchists have used to bring about their goals. Drawing on a wide range of sources, from the classic accounts of Kropotkin and Bakunin to the work of modern anarchist thinkers, this insightful work will provide the perfect introduction to anarchism, the anti-globalization movement and the issue of whether anarchist ideals can ever be consistent with justifying violence for political ends.

Ah yes, a book which will teach you what G. K. Chesterton called “that law and organisation which is so essential to anarchy”

The true stupidity of this is that there is no libertarian socialism…

Why not just label this type of human organization by its function, namely a form of “gestalt liberalism”. Like bees, no anarchy in hives in fact queens are not really queens.

top down organizations have a short shelf life before subtle chaos starts bobbling down inevitably.
Example under boss take full credit for work done by his underlings. Now his underlings seek to sabotage their thieving boss’ ascent.

I need to get a better handle on anarchism. On one hand it is said to be conservative in the aspect of its rejection of industrialization and globalism, while progressive in its militant revolution. J.R.R. Tolkein apparently was an anarchist, but I don’t believe he advocated the violence that seems to follow anarchism. You can easily see how this is reflected in his Lord of the Rings trilogy. The distinction between libertarianism and anarchism is said to be a matter of distinguishing the utility of violence vs. diplomacy.
