Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It’s that one person who reposts stuff all the time. Welp. Time for nonsense.
Did you know that feminism was actually invented by men to give their wives a sense of accomplishment? It’s true. Men, kind and gracious beings that we are, felt sorry for all the women who made the choice to stay home, barefoot and nude, and make us delicious finger food. So we invented feminism to help them get out of the house more, encourage them to exercise and otherwise maintain their perky figures. That’s just the sort of nice fellows that we are.
Then women became disillussioned with the play group (feminism) that we created for them and so we decided to expand it out a bit. This book is actually written by a really upstanding fellow named Kent. Nice white guy, married an arabic woman to avoid the danger of having a red headed child, then Kent noticed his wife wasn’t engaging with her community of fellow western wives. So did Kent give up and let his wife suffer? No! He created intersectional feminism! Just for her! Because that’s the kind of man Kent is.
So, thank you Kent! Thank you for helping the man collective maintain this play group we have collectively created for the otherwise isolrated hotties in our lives. You, Kent, are a bro and a scholar and women everywhere owe you a great debt of gratitude. Thanks to Kent we can now all just nod and smile and women rant about the male gaze, needing more orgasms and whatever else their cute little heads get distracted with that day.
Note: The foregoing was nonsense. But, for a fun time, why not tell the feminists in your life about Kent. I’m sure they’ll appreciate that not only are you an ally, but we men actually created their entire movement. Say “You’re Welcome” a lot. Because that’s the polite thing to do.

Yes, just like that, mindlessly reposting the book and not bothering to fix the obvious (incomplete annotation).
However, as regrettable and off-putting as this “book reposting to erase comments” phenomena might be, I think there’s also a bright side — namely, how many posters, to the contrary, choose to never ever do that. I’m pretty sure many posters also dislike trolls and their activities (*), but still they choose not to use it as an excuse or rationalization for this so called “book reposting”.
* for some peculiar reason, unrestrained by the site rules — the “trolls related suffering” argument was brought forward by some mods lately, conveniently overlooking the fact that they themselves have full control over everything, trolls included, and can pull the trolls plug at any moment (i.e. it’s not so much about trolls running wild, as about mods allowing them to do so).

In fairness, we did have a bunch of pro-Trump stuff reposted as well, at least my defective memory suggests that we did. So whatever poster based comment moderation through deletion that’s happening isn’t specific to one or the other political leaning.
I recall wanting to toss nonsense at that reposter too, but I couldn’t figure out how to mock a movement whose own lived experience somehow includes Jewish Space Lasers, incinerated ballot eating chickens and the undead reviving to fix extraterritorial elections. I guess maybe I could claim that Trump is actually George Soros in drag advancing the liberal agenda by making the right look silly. Yeah, that might work. I’ll go with that if the Trump reposter returns.

If anything, the reposting of these uploads, or the Trump books, due to ideologically incorrect commentary, seems to be entirely counterproductive. It generates even more such chitc-hatery.

You’re not going to get all users agreeing on comment etiquette, and whoever’s runs the site clearly doesn’t give enough of a toss to moderate the comments, so complaining about re-uploads is pointless and a waste of time. Someone does us a favour and uploads something, it’s on them whether they want to remove and re-upload it in order to purge it of comments.

The practical consequence is that it merely attracts more negative attention than uploading & leaving as is (”I hate this & I hate you for hating this” and so forth. Hatred equals internet fuel). The moderators do remove genuinely hateful material, it would appear.

The comments are wild. This is one of the most accessible breakdowns of White Supremacist feminism and how it affects non-White women across the world. Highly recommend this book to anyone who’s deconstructing from colonialism/capitalism/patriarchy.
