A totally flawed understanding of Middle East situation and history all along! A revisionist account putting all blame on mere hundred years of political convulsions that started way long before. Allies ruled the Middle East less than 30 years and actually recognized and modernized it better than any of the many occupants in history! Ottomans ruled and RUINED the Middle East for over 450 years.

Their modernization technologically is better because the occupation was in modern times and latest in historically))) But it is not the point to be better ruler or not. Nazis were “better” rulers than soviets. Soviets were better than some nonsoviet rulers.
