@apnea and all of us who “hesitate” about female narrators… Nadia May, the narrator of this and personally chosen by the remarkable Paul Johnson to perform most of his audiobooks is NOT a ‘typical’ female voice. Her pitch, delivery, and performative nuance all come across as, well, pleasingly and appropriate. Nothing ‘feminine’ about it.
