This revolutionary system of government aims to take the power away from short-sighted and self-serving politicians and bring the power to the people through online voting. We must change this broken system and evolve democracy to what it can be in this technological age.
This book also examines how we can fix problems ranging from the environment, energy, food production, money, taxes, the military, prison reform…. The list goes on. These problems will only be fixed if we take the power into our own hands in order to create the world we want. Politicians, and the insatiably greedy that control them, must not be allowed to destroy our countries or our planet any longer

….from short sighted and self-serving politicians to short-sighted and self-serving factions in major population centers of the country….
These factions, presently support the very self-serving politicians.. the direct democracy will transfer power to these factions and limit the power of ALL states that the present system attempts to maintain.
A direct democracy is akin to 7 wolves & 6 sheep voting on what to have for dinner. The direct democracy can force the opinions and beliefs of small sections of the country (New York, Los Angeles and other Democrat controlled large population centers) to the rest of the nation.
This is more silly misinformation that will spread ignorance into abandoning the Constitution. The Founding Fathers were smart and recognized tyranny more-so than the so called “educated” of today.

@bosk what percentage of the population do those small sections of the country hold? Those large population centers are net contributors to national GDP than those large empty spaces that have more rocks or wild animals than human beings and are welfare states.

First I thought this non-fiction book does not make much sense. However, if combined with the previous, debut non-fiction book by this author, it kind of does. So I look forward to reading (listening to) both of them in proper chronological order:
100 Women: A Life Story of Sex and Redemption (2015) by Tyler True
A humorous life story told through 100 different sexual encounters. This memoir is a lot more than just sex stories though as the author discusses different careers on the water and in the military, spirituality, relationships, theories on women, and a way to make the word ‘politician’ extinct and bring the power to the people through a democratic revolution.
