not new by any stretch of the imagination. jp does like to stroke his own ego without imparting anything new or of much of use. he does some pushing of religious/conservative ideologies & misrepresents scientific findings/studies in the attempt to support them.
it imparts 12 points that children should have learnt but family dynamics commonly fail to impart/impress upon.
