Thanks for uploading, but I have to admit this story is bad, like really bad. I thought I was really going to like it, being huge fantasy geek and a combat vet. I thought it might be a deep story about the violence, and the military in a serious fantasy setting, as labeled in the description.
It’s not, it just another female power fantasy filled with painfully unbelievable situations and characters. It not the dragons or magic that’s unbelievable either, it’s the story. I understand it’s a fantasy, but for a fantasy to be enjoyed a reader must suspend disbelief, this writer fails maintain that on any level.

Folks should do their research before reading. Just a simple look on Goodreads and author’s bibliography should’ve told you it’s a romantasy. Even if the marketing is misleading I think we’re all adults and should know by now not to trust the blurbs or the hype and spend a few minutes to do our own research before spending money or time on anything these days.
I enjoyed it for what it is but if romance is not your thing you should definitely stay away from it.
